Avoca House is based in Iona, a beautiful, leafy, residential area between Glasnevin and Drumcondra, 10 minutes’ drive from Dublin City Centre. The Turner family have lived in the guest house for over 25 years, renovating it entirely in 1999. Audrey, Jack, their son Jonathan and their two small, friendly dogs Peanut and Chilli, look forward to welcoming you to Avoca House soon.

One of the most peaceful spots in the City is just around the corner. The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland is an oasis of calm and beauty with free entry and is just a 5 minute stroll from our Guest House.
Amongst some of the fascinating historical sights in Dublin is Glasnevin Cemetery & Museum, where the country’s most prominent historical national figures including Michael Collins, Eamon de Valera, Charles Stewart Parnell and Constance Markievicz are laid to rest.
Dublin boasts one of the best pub scenes in the world. Just a walk away from our guest house is Fagan's Pub, a renowned Irish pub frequented by some very famous faces including Bill Clinton.

Each bed has a goose-down duvet and pillows and 100% Egyptian cotton sheets to guarantee a great night’s sleep.
