"Avoca House is one of the nicest B&Bs we have stayed-anywhere in our world travels. The rooms are lovely, the neighborhood is quiet. The overall feeling is one of welcoming and comfort and feeling like you belong. The location is perfect: a 30 minute bus ride from the airport, and two block walk up to the house. after a stop at Fagan's, of course. We got settled in and walked right back down to the bus stop for 15 minute ride to the heart of Dublin. Perfect! But we cannot talk about Avoca House without highly praising Jack and Audrey and their family-two of the warmest, funniest people we've met. We just love them. Their kindness and hospitality were over the top. Great food, great conversation, loads of laughs. Just a grand time. We cannot wait to go back."

"Hurrah for Avoca House! My husband and I are from Newfoundland and recently spent three nights at Avoca House with great hosts Jack and Audrey. Lovely place, super location, substantial breakfasts. #16 bus at airport will bring you to Fagan's Pub and from there a short walk to Avoca House. Can easily walk to Botanic Gardens or O'Connell Street. Would highly recommend. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed."

"Weekend stay at the Avoca - We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away at the Avoca in Dublin, Jack and Audrey were the most amazing host's, such a warm friendly couple, they made us feel so welcome, and couldn't do enough for us. The house was beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised the rooms as the rooms were very modern and spotless. The Irish breakfast was delicious, served up by Audrey and her lovely smile. Thanks for the most enjoyable stay, we really wanted to bring Chilli and peanut home with us, they were adorable!"
